Abstract

Disorders of sex development (DSDs) are congenital conditions affecting the reproductive system, in which development of chromosomal, gonadal, or anatomical sex is atypical.

Due to DSD significant and life-long impacts on patients and their families, it is highly recommended that children with DSDs should be managed and notified early by an experienced multidisciplinary team / MDT.
